Gulf Fast Freight was managing cross-border shipments across 8 Gulf countries using a combination of phone calls, fax, and a 2009-era desktop software. Clients had zero visibility and customs errors caused an average 2.3-day delay per shipment.

Real-time tracking required integrating with 6 different carrier APIs, none of which had consistent data formats. Customs document generation needed to be legally accurate for UAE, Saudi, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Oman simultaneously.

We built a carrier API normalization layer first — a single internal interface that abstracted away all 6 carrier formats. Customs document templates were reviewed by a licensed freight forwarder before the generation engine was built.

A client-facing shipment portal with real-time Mapbox tracking, automated customs document generation per destination country, multi-carrier rate comparison, and an operations dashboard with exception alerting for delays.
